Vintners Club: Membership Info

Membership in the Vintners Club is open to all persons regardless of race, color or gender who are interested in enhancing their knowledge and appreciation of wine. Over the past 50 years, thousands of men and women (wine collectors, winemakers, winery owners, restaurateurs, sommeliers, wine writers and judges, and people who simply love wine) have enjoyed membership in this organization. Several wineries hold corporate memberships which entitles their personnel to attend the tastings and events at the discounted member price. The Club's publications are disseminated electronically to thousands of high-end wine enthusiasts all over the world.

A one-time Initiation Fee of $1,000 is charged to join the Vintners Club. Annual Dues for 2023 are $950 for resident members and for wineries. Dues are $465 for individuals whose principal residence is outside California. Because of the Club's tax-exempt status, the one-time initiation fee, the annual dues and wine donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law in the same manner as charitable contributions. Wine industry professionals may also be able to deduct the amount charged for tastings as a business expense. Members are not charged any annual "assessment" for purchase of wines.
